$10,000 Hiring Incentive and Lateral Pay

The Webster Police Department is currently offering up to $10,000 hiring incentive to eligible applicants including TCOLE Licensed Texas Peace Officers and Cadets who are currently enrolled in a Basic Peace Officer Course at a TCOLE recognized Law Enforcement Academy.  Under this program, an officer will receive half upon completion of the field training program, and the remainder at the completion of one year of employment.  

The incentive is based on years of service as a peace officer:

0 - 2 years: $5,000
2 - 5 years: $7,500
5 or more: $10,000

Additionally, officers with relevant peace officer service history may receive credit for up to five (5) years, on a on a one-year-for-one-year basis.
